The model is deliberately transparent. You set the rate card — cost per metre travelled, cost per labour hour, your currency, your working days. The suite already knows the distances: what a day of picking cost before a re-slot and what it costs after, what each replenishment run travels, what a wave programme consumes. Daily saving equals distance improvement times your rate. The one-time cost of executing a re-slot is priced from the actual move plan. Payback is the division.
Honesty is a feature, not a caveat. Modelled figures are labelled modelled; measured figures are labelled measured; negative results are shown, never clamped. Industry research is clear that idealised models overstate savings — so Awarehouse tracks value in a daily ledger against your real operating calendar and lets the numbers earn trust.
