Plans fail at the point of assignment. A perfect wave plan and a perfect replenishment plan still collide if they land on the same six operators without coordination. Task Manager is the reconciliation layer: one unified task model, one crew, one schedule.
Assignment respects reality — operator zone eligibility, equipment requirements, shift lengths — and balances load so utilisation is even instead of heroic. The suite also computes the crew size a plan actually requires from its total labour minutes, so staffing is a calculation, not a guess. Tasks that cannot be assigned are reported with reasons, because an honest gap beats a silent one.
