Replenishment answers one question before the shift starts: which pick faces will run dry, and what exactly do we move to prevent it? Awarehouse answers it as an executable plan — every move with a from-slot, a to-slot, metres of travel and estimated minutes.

Two triggers drive the plan. Daily replenishment tops up pick faces whose stock has fallen below coverage targets, prioritised by urgency — empty faces first, then part-pallet faces, then routine top-ups. Wave replenishment reads upcoming order demand from Wave Planning and stages exactly what the next waves will consume, before the pickers arrive at the face.

The difference from a report is execution. Each replenishment line becomes a chain of physical moves — sourced from the nearest bulk location holding the SKU, sequenced to avoid conflicts, with full-pallet and loose-carton logic — and each move carries its travel distance and time estimate. Shortfalls are flagged honestly: if bulk stock cannot cover demand, the plan says so instead of pretending.
